California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office cites Lightleap.ai in statewide Generative AI report

In its July 2024 report Generative AI and the Future of Teaching and Learning, the California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office named Lightleap.ai as the fraud-detection API entering production for Fall 2024 registration as part of a beta project across Foothill-De Anza and West Valley-Mission Community College Districts:
"The Lightleap.ai fraudulent detection application programming interface (API) will be in production for fall 2024 registration as part of the beta project. This partnership brings the potential for a scalable AI-based fraud detection solution for the California Community Colleges."
This was the official state-level signal that ultimately led to the systemwide subsidy effective July 1, 2025.
