N2N Services Privacy Policy

1 Overview

N2N Services’ intentions for publishing a Privacy Policy are to clearly define the type of information that may be collected in the use of N2N’s websites (Sites) and applications (Services), and the rights of users of N2N’s sites and services to know and manage such data.

2 Purpose

The purpose of this policy is to outline the ways in which N2N manages the information collected through the operation of its software, and describe the rights of individuals with respect to the way that that data is handled.

3 Scope

This policy applies to the use of information, electronic and computing devices, and network resources used to conduct N2N Services business or interact with internal networks and business systems, whether owned or leased by N2N Services, the employee, or a third party. All employees, contractors, consultants, temporary, and other workers at N2N Services are responsible for exercising good judgment regarding appropriate use of information, electronic devices, and network resources in accordance with N2N Services policies and standards, and local laws and regulations. Exceptions to this policy are documented in the Policy Compliance 
section below.

4 Policy

This privacy notice discloses the privacy practices for N2N's Sites and Services. This privacy notice applies soley to information collected by this Site or Service. It will notify you of the follwoing:
 1. What personally identifiable information is collected from you through the Sites and Services, how it is used and with whom it may be shared.
2. What choices are available to you regarding the use of your data.
3. The security procedures in place to protect the misuse of your information.
4. How you can correct any inaccuracies in the information.
Services may have additional terms unique to the service.

4.1 General Information Collection, Use, and Sharing

We are the sole controllers of the information collected on this site or service. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or another direct contactfrom you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.
  • We protect the user information covered by this privacy policy, such as name and email address, in the same way that we protect the information we process through our APIs. Our APIs may process sensitive personally identifiable information, such as data covered by FERPA, or by various Federal and State statutes concerning information such as Social Security Number or other identifiers. We use the same care with user information
We will use your information to respond to you regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfil your request
Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products, or services, or changes to this privacy policy.
  • N2N’s services allow users of its applications to use the supplied default user account to create and then manage user accounts. The superuser can remove any other user account at any time.
  • N2N’s services may use application program interfaces (APIs) or database connections to access information and, when configured under the contril of the system users, make such data avaiable to authorized applications (data consumers).
  • Statistical metadata (not Personal Data) concerning system activity (number of calls to an API) may be maintained by the service in log files.
  • N2N application sites and services may use browser cookies to improve the user experience. All modern browsers allow the user to manage such cookies.
4.2 LightleapAI

In addition to the general provision contained in section 4.1, LightleapAI collects, uses, and shares your information to fulfil requests and complete the following tasks:

Verifying your identity

Preventing fraud or misuse of our services

Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations

Supporting applications reviews or service access decisions

Improving the effectiveness of our fraud detection and identity validation services
LightleapAI will collect the following information for this purpose:

- Full name, date of birth, and contact information
- Government-issued identification numbers or images
- Residential address and related documentation
- Device and browser metadata
- Any additional information required to verify your identity or assess the validity of your application
To deliver secure and compliant identity verification, LightleapAI may partner with one or more trusted third-party verification providers. These partners operate under strict regulatory frameworks and are contractually onligated to protect your data. Although we do not disclose the names of our verification partners during the verification flow to minimize confusion, we ensure they uphold industry-leading privacy and compliance standards. You may access their privacy policies at the time of data verification. Currently, our primary verification provider's privacy policy can be found here.
We will retain your data only as long as necessary to fulfill the verification process, fraud monitoring, and compliance audits. You may request deletion of your information by contacting us at privacy@lightleap.ai.

4.3 Your Access to and Control Over Information

You may opt out of any future contacts from us at any time. You can do the follwing at any time by contacting us via the email address or the phone number given on our website, or by using the website contact form. Depending upon your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:
  1. See what data we have about you, if any.
  2. Change/correct any data we have about you.
  3. Have us delete any data we have about you
  4. Opt-out of any non-essentials data uses.
  5. Express any concern you have about our use of your data

4.4 GDPR

For GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) purposes, the N2N CISO or SVP of Operations shall also assume the role of Data Protection Officer (DPO).
N2N processes Customers’ Personal Data when providing solutions and services to its customers. N2N is a global organization and may provide these solutions and services from any country in which N2N has facilities or personnel. When processing Customer Personal Data, N2N is a Processor (as those terms are defined by applicable data protection laws) to its customers, and N2N processes Customer Personal Data only in accordance with the customer’s instructions.
N2N is not responsible for its customers' privacy policies or practices: or for customers' compliance with suh policies/practices. N2N does not review, comment upon, or monitor its customers' privacy policies or its customers' compliance with such policies. N2N does not review instructions or authorizations sent to N2N by customers or other parties to determine whether the instructions or authorizations are in compliance with, or conflict with, the terms of a customer's published privacy policy or of any notice provided to Customer Data Subjects.

4.4.1 Cross-Border Data Flows

When conducting business, working on company projects, or implementing new processes or systems, an operation may require transferring personal information to other entities or third parties outside the N2N Service operation's country of business. While permissible data transfer mechanisms are defined by applicable law or regulation, examples include:
  • A fully executed master service agreement defining the party who wil access or botain the personal information, or
  • a data transfer agreement with the party who will access or obtain the personal information; or
  • notice to and approval from a country’s local data protection authority; or
  • notice to and consent from the individual whose data is to be transferred.

5 Policy Compliance

5.1 Compliance Measurement
N2N Services will verify compliance to this policy through various methods, including but not limited to, business tool reports, internal and external audits, and feedback to the policy woner.
5.2 Exceptions
Any exceptions to the policy must be approved by the N2N Services management team.
5.3 Non-Compliance
An employee (full time or temporary) or contractor found to have violated this policy may be subject to disciplinary action, up tp and including termination of employment or engagement with N2N.
